Schedule of events and course times
The orientation weeks before the 2025/26 winter semester will take place from September 29 to October 9, i.e., in the two weeks before the official start of lectures.
- Math bridge course (September 29 to October 2; no classes on the public holiday October 3)
- Introduction to FIM compute-services and ressources (October 6 to October 9)
In addition, there will be campus and library tours, study tips, and supporting events (e.g., campfires, etc.) organized by the FIM student council and the IEEE university group.
An overview of the orientation week with explanations of the FSinfo events and the orientation week schedule in calendar form will be available on the FSinfo website in good time before the start of the orientation week.
Since the math bridge course and computer introduction program blocks do not build on each other, it is possible to participate in only one of the two blocks if necessary. However, it makes sense to participate in the entire O-Week program, as a part of the accompanying information events is only offered once during the entire preliminary course
