Security in Information Systems
The assistant professorship of Security in Information Systems was represented from 1st of April till end of August 2021 by Dr. Henrich C. Pöhls.
The research areas of the assistant professorship focussed on
- the application and development of information security concepts on systems that deploy artificial intelligence (AI-Systems),
and on - the use and development of crxyptographically secure mechanisms for the protection of authenticity of data while it traverses an IT-system.
The teaching was centered on the security of AI-systems.
The former head of the assistant professorship, Prof. Dr. Reiser, was during that time representing the Chair of Reliable Distributed Systems at the University of Passau.
