The best way to reach Passau is by train or by car via the A3 freeway. If you arrive by plane, we recommend the airports in Linz and Munich, as well as continuing your journey by train. Once you arrive in Passau, you won't have far to go. The university is located near the city center and can be easily reached on foot, by bike or by bus.
Information about train connections, travel times and tickets can be obtained directly from Deutsche Bahn.
From the main train station, our offices are about a 10-minute walk away:
When you leave the main train station, turn right and follow Obere Bahnhofstraße. Between the bus stops 2 and 3, turn right into a narrow path that leads to a staircase with a lift. At the top, walk along the Poststeg over the tracks. At the end of the footbridge, turn left into Grünaustraße and immediately right again into Firmianstraße. At the end of this street turn left into Dr.-Hans-Kapfinger-Straße. Our offices are located in the first building with number 30 on the left-hand side on the second floor.
