The chair offers courses in the Bachelor's degree programs in Artificial Intelligence, the Master's degree programs in Computer Science, and the German-language teacher training programs in Computer Science and Mathematics.
The teaching is interdisciplinary and combines computer science, mathematics, AI, and systems engineering. The chair's laboratory (FabLab) enables practice-oriented and cross-faculty courses that appeal to students from all disciplines.
Thesis projects are both theoretical and practical and allow for interdisciplinary research – for example, in the field of autonomous systems, incorporating technical, social, legal, and ethical aspects.
