The Professorship for Discrete Mathematics was created within the Hightech Agenda Bayern. At the start of the new academic year 2022/23, Bavarian Minister-President Dr. Markus Söder and State Minister for Science and Art Markus Blume welcomed the new professors and students together with the university's president Prof. Dr. Ulrich Bartosch.
