Prof. Dr. Hans P. Reiser was appointed to the Chair of Digital Security with effect from 1 July 2026. Prior to joining the University of Passau, he had served since 2022 as an Associate Professor and Director of the Frostbyte Research Center at Reykjavik University (Iceland).
The Chair is a member of the Passau Institute of Digital Security (PIDS).
