On Friday afternoon of 11 January 2019 the ‘Honours Degree in Digital Technology and Entrepreneurship 2019’ officially started. The faculty of the programme welcomed all students on the premises of the INN.KUBATOR Passau. After some introductory words of Prof. Jan H. Schumann from the Chair of Marketing and Innovation, Prof. Carolin Häussler from the Chair of Organisation, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship outlined to the students what it means to become an entrepreneur. Then, the kick-off of the ‘Honours Degree 2019’ was all about getting to know each other (i.e., the in-future-to-be entrepreneurs with their appealing business ideas and the chairs with their lecturers passionated about teaching entrepreneurship and guiding the teams) as well as about the programme’s content, structure and rules. The kick-off ended with some food and drinks – and some intense games of table football.
In total, eight teams will work on their promising business ideas over the next nine months. During this period of time, the teams aim at developing a validated prototype and a sound business plan with the help of faculty and practitioners of the ‘Honours Degree’. The DTE Team looks forward working together with the teams and seeing their ideas developing.
The DTE team wants to thank the INN.KUBATOR Passau for making this pleasant kick-off possible at their premises.
