Here are some tips:
- Before registering, please check the study areas (Studienbereiche) of the courses you have completed to find out the examination numbers (Prüfungsnummer) under which your courses are listed.
- If you are unsure, ask your lecturer/instructor which examiners you have to register with in the Campus-Portal system.
- Open/pending exam registrations from previous semesters do not count for the current semester! An exam you registered for but did not take has an open or pending status ("offen"). Any such open/pending exams from previous semesters do not count as an exam registration for the current semester, and you should have them removed from your list so that you can register for them again this semester. To do so, please contact the secretaries of the Chair in charge of the relevant exam.
- Once you have registered for all your exams, check your Campus-Portal statement of registered examinations.
In order to be allowed to take part in an exam, the examination number, examiner’s name AND the semester indicated in the registration must all be correct. During the registration phase, you can make corrections to your registrations yourself. Please note that you will not be allowed to sit the exam if the registration details are incorrect. Furthermore, exams you registered for in error are counted as a non-attendance and graded with a 5.0 (fail), since erroneous registrations cannot be distinguished from "real" non-attendance.
If you have any problems or questions regarding exam registration, please contact your examinations officer without delay. Further information and important notes can be found in the exam registration notice (with deadlines).
