Research
A major focus of research is on aspects of de-fragmentation and the connection between talent potentials, performance and creativity. Another current research interest is digital media. This includes the project SMiLE, which deals with the use of CAS in exams at schools, as well as interactive mathematical maps, which are used in higher education as an innovative learning tool. Further information on the topics and projects can be found in the "Research" and "Projects" sections.
Teaching
At the Professorship for Didactics of Mathematics, regular lectures and seminars are held as well as internships for students of different school types are supervised. In addition, students can also write their final thesis (Bachelor, Master, admissions thesis) on current research questions and school-oriented topics.
