Zlata Kikteva

I’m a PhD student working in the DeLab project (VolkswagenStiftung).

In my research, I favour an interdisciplinary approach with a primary focus on linguistics and computer science (AI, in particular). For my dissertation, I aim to enhance the state-of-the-art in disagreement detection with a hybrid computational linguistic model which can identify not only individual instances of disagreement but also dynamics leading up to the destructive conflict. My further academic interests include computational models of argument and dynamics of framing in communication.
