Application

In order to apply for enrolment to the MDPS, the candidate must hold a master degree. A working knowledge of the English language is required; a good level in at least one of the two languages (German and French) of the doctoral college is strongly recommended. The application is open to students of all nationalities.

German and French language classes of all levels are available at the INSA Lyon as well as at the University of Passau.

A number of financing options are available depending on the specific case of the applicant.

The applicants must submit the following documents (in English):

• Cover letter with statement of interest

• Curriculum vitae

• Certificates and transcripts

• Description of the research proposal

• Official statement of candidacy
