Current Information

Research:	My research is focused on the following topic areas: Virtual Network Embedding Network virtualization Network resilience Autonomic networking
Projects:	Previously, I have been active in the AutoI project (01/2008 – 12/2009 „Autonomic Internet (AutoI)“, funded by EU (STREP, FP7 Call1), grant ICT-2007-1-216404) in the area of router virtualization, in the EuroNF SJDE VNREAL in the area of Virtual Network Embedding, and in the ResumeNet project (09/2008 - 12/2011 ResumeNet (Resilience and Survivability for future networking: framework, mechanisms and experimental evaluation), STREP, FP7 Call1 (ICT-2007-2) Grant 224619) in the area of Virtual Machine migration for resilience. I am a co-developer of the ALEVIN simulation software for Virtual Network Embeddings
Memberships:	I am a member of both, the EuroNF and EINS networks of excellence.
